The hearing impaired ministry is committed to serving the deaf as we share the gospel of Jesus Christ with them through the preached word as well as the gospel through song. We are desirous of people to join our ministry who know how to sign or are willing to learn how to sign. Come join us to serve.

- EDUCATIONAL CARE MINISTRY
Our educational care ministry is dedicated to working with adopted schools. We partner with them to offer tutoring services, monitoring of test services, as well as mentoring as we have the opportunity. We also provide care and support to (hosting) families throughout the entire year.

- LOCAL MISSIONS MINISTRY
The Local Missions Ministry carries the good news of Jesus Christ to surrounding neighborhoods, encouraging people to become part of the body / family of Christ. Meeting: 2nd Saturday @ 12pm

- LOAVES & FISHES MINISTRY
Loaves & Fishes Ministry is to be a supplier of food and other goods to those who are hungry and without food to eat. Pantry Hours: Monday & Wednesday, 10:00am-4:00pm.

- JAIL MINISTRY
The Jail Ministry shares the love and forgiveness of God with those who are incarcerated for a time. To bring the good news of Jesus to those who cannot attend churches because of restrictions.

- R.A.I.N. MINISTRY
The “Regional AIDS Interfaith Network” serves eleven counties. It is a ministry which enables small groups of volunteers, working in congregational based Care Teams to live out their faith in service to persons living with HIV/AIDS syndrome. RAIN Meets every 4th Sunday at 9:45am in the Mallway.

- PRISON MINISTRY
The Prison Ministry shares the love and forgiveness of God with those who are incarcerated for a time and cannot attend churches because of restriction. The Prison Ministry meets on Tuesdays at 7pm in Room 236.

Missionary Group 2’s mission is to offer spiritual, emotional and physical support to those in need. Our activities include. Holding monthly meetings every 2nd Sunday immediately following 10:45 service.

Missionary Group 3’s mission is to offer spiritual, emotional and physical support to those in need. We are committed to devoting time of ourselves by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ. Services are extended to those in the community, as well as the church family. We meet on the 2nd Sunday of each month immediately after the 10:45am worship.

Mission Group 4’s is a small group with a BIG HEART determined to do our part in carrying out MCBC Vision. Meetings are held monthly on the 2nd Sunday immediately after 10:45am worship.

We are women of God called together to serve in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, motivated by the Holy Spirit to proclaim God’s will to love one another, to reach out, and to be a beacon in improving the quality of life for others by caring, sharing, and giving best of our service through community outreach. Meetings are held monthly on the 2nd Sunday immediately after 10:45am worship.

Exodus Foundation.org is a ministry of Mount Carmel as well as a community wide, and national ministry. The mission is to stop the flow of African-Americans to prison.

Sight and Sound Ministry addresses the media needs so that the Worship experience is heard and seen at its best. Sight & Sound Ministry meets 2nd Wednesday @ 6:45pm – 7:00pm.
- DRAMA & CULTURAL ARTS MINISTRY
- Drama is an expression of our relationship with God to portray life, characters, or tell a story involving conflict and emotions through dialogue designed for theatrical performance. The Cultural Arts Ministry is designed to focus on the culture, history, and spiritual journey of African-Americans. It is the responsibility of this ministry to help educate and inform our community of the legacy and spiritual journey of our ancestors.

Sunday School Ministry here at Mount Carmel offers a variety of classes for children and adults. The children and youth classes are arranged by age and grade. The adult classes are a combination of male and female as well as exclusively male and female classes.

- DR. LEON C. RIDDICK SCHOLARSHIP
Each year this scholarship awards numerous college scholarships to young people attending Historical African American Colleges. Applications can be attained by contacting the church office. Scholarships are awarded in the fall.

- BOY SCOUTS
Scouting promises boys ages six years (who have completed kindergarten) to age eighteen years, opportunities to help other people, serve God and country, friendship, great outdoor adventures, tools and duties that will help you mature into a strong wise and caring adult. The Scout Oath and Scout Law can guide you while you are a Scout and throughout your life.
MCBC Apache # 356 Boy Scouts meet the 1st Saturday of each month (10:00am – 2:00pm) and on 2nd & 3rd Tuesday nights (6:30pm – 7:45pm) after 1st Saturday.

- GIRL SCOUTS
Girl Scouts of the USA is the world’s preeminent organization dedicated solely to girls – all girls where, in an accepting and nurturing environment girls build character and skills for success in the real world. In partnership with committed adult volunteers, girls develop qualities that will serve them all their lives, like leadership strong values, social conscience, and conviction about their own potential and self-worth.
The Girl Scouts meet on the First Saturday of each month from 9:00am – 1:00pm.

- YOUTH MINISTRY
The Youth Ministry at Mount Carmel Baptist Church is an age specific (6th grade – 12th grade) religious ministry that engages the young people of the church. Our Youth Ministry encourages young people who profess a faith to learn more about God and become more involved in spiritual life.
Youth Church is offered 2nd, 3rd , 4th Sunday during 10:45am service in Room 235.

- CHILDREN’S & NURSERY MINISTRY
We believe that children are important to God. The Children & Nursery Ministry extends the love of Christ to our younger children. Age appropriate teaching of biblical principles and sharing of the Bible story are offered on Sundays:

- CAMPUS CONNECTIONS
Campus Connections is a bible centered teaching program that provides the experience of on-site visits to college and university campuses and access to admissions directors, counselors, financial aid officers, department chairpersons and student representatives. Campus Connections serve to identify and coordinate educational funding for High School students provided by colleges, universities, organizations, private foundations and individuals.

- ANDREW FELLOWSHIP MINISTRY
The Andrew Fellowship ministry serves by offering candidates for membership the plan of salvation. An Andrew Fellow also supports new members by providing guidance into full participation of our church fellowship by being a prayer partner and first friend.
Meetings are held monthly on 1st Saturday @ 9:30am in Room 243.

Sister’s of Faith Ministry’s vision is to connect women across generations for mutual support, mentioning and Bible study. We meet on a quarterly basis to Worship through Scripture, song and prayer.

Our Senior Ministry is designed to help connect seniors through faith and activities of fellowship. In this ministry seniors are encouraged to help support, care and pray with one another.
The Seniors Ministry meets every 4th Thursday @ 11:00am in Mallway.

The Men’s Ministry is designed to address the particular needs and issues that men face. Each man is encouraged to grow in his knowledge of Christ as Lord and Savior.
The Men’s Ministry Breakfast and Fellowship is held on the 4th Saturday of the month from 8:30am-10:00am.

- MARRIED COUPLES MINISTRY
The Couple’s Ministry encourages and supports couples at the stage of their initial commitment to marry, and at every stage of their marriage, in seeking to exercise the promises and expectations of God’s covenant love in marriage. Couples seek to grow spiritually in becoming a greater reflection of God’s love.
The Married Couples Ministry Sunday School Class meets each Sunday @ 9:30 am in Room 239.

Tuckaseegee Traders Investment Ministry is a progressive ministry committed to lifting the believer in an area of finance. It is our mission to educate Mount Carmel members about the various financial and investment products which can help them reach their financial goals.
This will be accomplished by learning about selecting and investing stocks.
Tuckaseegee Traders meet every 3rd Saturday from 10:00am – 12:00pm

Nurses’ Ministry is to provide health support, resources and education to the church family. When health concerns arise in the context of our church community the health ministry is available for support and council.

The Security Ministry exists to serve God by helping to create a safe and meaningful environment that reflects the excellence of God. This ministry seeks to maintain a negative free environment for seekers and believers to worship.

- PRAYER MINISTRY
Prayer Ministry provides prayer support and encouragement for the church body in the context of the biblical community, helping members to become like Christ in order to glorify God.
First Saturday of each month community prayer is held at 8:00am.
The Prayer Ministry meets for prayer the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th Saturday meetings are from 7:00am – 9:00am in Room # 267.
Sunday Corporate Prayer is offered before each of the two morning worship services at 7:45-7:55am and 10:30-10:40am.

The Bereavement Ministry provides prayer and ministry support for families going through a season of bereavement. This ministry also helps provide a meal of fellowship for families following the home going service of a loved one.

This ministry is designed to put Christian principles into practice through mind, body, and spirit. We affirm that the body is the temple of God and thus should be cared for properly.

- OIL OF HOPE MINISTRY
Oil of Hope Ministry is designed to manifest God’s love as we support and encourage families during their season of loss by offering workshops, seminars, and Care Groups. Another component of Oil of Hope Ministry is to give “Prayer Shawls” to individual who are terminally ill or in a crisis situation. ‘Prayer Shawls’ are an extension of God’s love.
